Lace Closure Full Sew In Install
For the client who wants a finished top and part with none of her own hair left out.
This is the difference between the two sew-in methods. A Traditional Sew-In leaves out a portion of your natural hair to cover the wefts and hairline. A Lace Closure Full Sew-In doesn't — all of your natural hair is braided underneath, and a lace closure covers the top and conceals the weft installation instead. Neither method is better; they suit different preferences. If you would rather not have your own hair out and blended into the install, this is the one.
What separates a well-executed closure from an obvious one isn't the lace — it's everything around it. Taneasha Hines builds a flat braid foundation first, because a closure can only lie smooth over a smooth base. Closure position is then chosen deliberately: set too far forward or too far back is exactly what makes a closure read as a hairpiece. From there it is customized to you, and the transition from the closure into the surrounding extension lengths is integrated so the density and direction carry through instead of stopping at the lace edge.
Closure dimensions of 2x6, 4x4, and 5x5 are available. Which size suits you is discussed and selected during your Extension Consultation, based on your desired result and installation plan.
Cutting and blending finish it. The cut gives the whole install a shape that belongs on your face, and it is what makes the closure area and the sew-in read as one head of hair rather than two sections.
The hair underneath is considered throughout — braid tension and placement are planned with your natural hair and scalp in mind.

Wear & Maintenance: Recommended wear is 8–10 weeks. Your installation may require earlier removal depending on your natural hair, your scalp, your home care, and the condition of the installation, and it should not be worn beyond 12 weeks before removal.
Extension hair and the lace closure are not included. Guests may purchase their hair and closure through SNATCHED Virgin Hair Extensions, available through the PHD Hair Solutions menu, or provide their own. Hair requirements and closure size are discussed during your Extension Consultation. Previously installed hair must be examined for condition and quality before it can be approved for reuse.
